Luxury Lighting in the Bathroom

A bathroom depends on having versatile lighting because of the activities that take place there. We know that a bare bulb hanging over the sink does not do much for us in terms of the luxury look but what is luxury in bathroom lighting?

Well, I think you need the following

• a well-lit makeup mirror, preferably lit from behind but not shining directly in your eyes so that you can see to shave or do your make up but it doesn't blind you. You can get some gorgeous lighted mirrors specially for bathroom these days or go for the dressing room look with a row on bulbs down each side of a large mirror.
• an overhead light that allows you to see in general in the bathroom (ambient light)
  
• ability to dim the lights so that you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the bath tub without feeling like you are under interrogation. If you don't have a dimmer switch or the budget to get one installed you can have the same effect by using lighted candles when you bathe (though you will probably find that the dimmer switch works out cheaper in the long run)
